Nitrogen6 Lite

Single Board Computer based on NXP i.MX6 Solo processor. The Nitrogen6 Lite features a signle core ARM Cortex A9 processor, 512MB of DDR3, and a variety of connectors. It can be purchased as a board or with an accessory kit.

The Nitrogen6_Lite is a slimmed down version of our popular Nitrogen6X board. Featuring the powerful i.MX6 Solo processor from NXP/Freescale, the Nitrogen6_Lite is an i.MX6 Single Board Computer with a wide variety of connectivity options. The i.MX6 series of applications processors combines scalable platforms with broad levels of integration and power-efficient processing capabilities particularly suited to multimedia applications. The i.MX6 Solo processor features enhanced capabilities of high-tier portable applications by fulfilling MIPS needs of operations systems and games, multilevel memory system, low power consumption, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, powerful graphics acceleration, interface flexibility, and integrated power management throughout the device

The Nitrogen6_Lite can be powered via 12V with an optional regulator. In addition, the Nitrogen6_Lite has a direct connection via one of the UART connectors to a Honeywell N5680 OEM Scan Engine. An optional Reed Relay provides dry contact capability and 2 open-collector transistor outputs allow for additional device control options. Please contact us for information on these capabilities.

All Boundary Devices’ operating systems run on the Nitrogen6_Lite including Yocto, Ubuntu, Buildroot, and Android. Please contact us for Windows CE support.

Boundary Devices can create custom variation of the Nitrogen6_Lite incluidng: de-populated components to reduce cost, modify the processor (Dual Lite), increase memory capacity, create industrial temperature versions, or conformal coating. Contact us for more information.
