The Neon270 board, as the name indicates, is the newer generation of our popular Neon Rev A single board computer, utilizing the Marvell PXA270 processor. It shares the same footprint and has common connector locations, while increasing the CPU clock rate and doubling the memory (RAM) capacity.
This allows for significantly improved performance while maintaining all of the great features of the Neon board. The Neon270 boards contain an extra USB master port, I2C capability, and an additional serial port.
We have created two different flavors of the Neon270 board. One flavor is a clone of the Neon Rev A in terms of connector locations. A second flavor has aligned all of the connectors to one side of the board.
It also has on-board LVDS connectivity. The Neon270 is a natural upgrade to the Neon Rev A boards for those requiring the extra horsepower in the same form factor. |
